- The Worship Team Needs You!!! The worship team is looking for:
- 1 Bass guitar player
- 3 Electric guitar players
- 1 Piano/keyboard player
- 4 Acoustic guitar players
- 1 Drummer

- Nursery Servants Needed in our nursery during Sunday School & AM Worship. Please contact Christine.
- Servant needed: There is a need for a male Sunday School co-teacher for 3rd & 4th grade. Please call Sandy Nass at 285-6289.
- AWANA Time! It all kicks off on August 18th. We moved to Wednesday nights, same time, 6:15-7:30. If any adults or teens are interested in helping, please see Nick or Sarah soon. Registration for AWANA will start in the narthex in August. More information will be coming soon about the new Wednesday schedule. Unfamiliar with AWANA? www.AWANA.org for more info.
- Attention ladies of all ages! We need your help cutting/ironing/sewing children’s “Pillowcase Dresses” for Andrea and Lori’s trip to Kenya. We will be making SIMPLE dresses in the ROCK Café on Thursday evening, July 29th at 6:00 p.m. Please let us know that you will be coming and whether or not you have a sewing machine to bring. Contact Kendra or Teresa Bivens for more information.
- SONSHINE NEWS:
- Jan needs help with Sonshine Kids on AWANA night. The needs include transporting if there are too many for the church van, helping them during supper time and perhaps helping to round them up after AWANA to get them ready to get on the church van for the trip home. Contact Jan if you can help.
- Help Sonshine Community Ministries reach people for Christ by donating your 5 cent cans and plastic bottles. You can bring CLEAN bottles and cans to church on Sunday mornings and give to Jerry Hodgett or you can contact Jerry or Jan Kloss to arrange pick-up
- The One Year Bible: For your personal spiritual growth and to follow along with Pastor Scott's 2010 sermon series, you are encouraged to purchase a One Year Bible (arranged 365 daily readings) and do the reading each day and week. It takes about 15-20 minutes to do the daily readings from the OT, NT, Psalms and Proverbs. Pastor Scott will begin that sermon series next Sunday.
- Marriage Mentoring - If you are personnaly interested in Marriage Mentoring (being mentored by a trained lay couple) or if you know of anyone else interested in Marriage Mentoring, please contact Sally at the Church office (285-8080)
- If you would like a cassette tape or a CD of a sermon (any week), please sign up at Welcome Table or contact the church office at 285-8080. Recycled tapes and CDs are welcomed in the church office. You can also download sermon MP3s or sermon notes - CLICK HERE to access them.

NORTH SCOTT FOOD PANTRY
July needs are are school supplies. The Pantry supplies each school within the North Scott School District school supplies which are to be made available to students who are in need.
