OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN

Involvement YOU can be a part of!

Retreats: Spring Retreat usually is held on site at Cornerstone, but does vary in location from time to time. Friday evening through Saturday afternoon is filled with awesome music, speakers, pampering and fellowship.
Fall retreat is a theme-based retreat that meets at Pine Lake Christian Camp in Eldora, IA for a weekend in September. Information on both retreats is available ahead of time in the church bulletin and on the Web. These are great ways to meet wonderful ladies in the Church!
Women's Night Out: Women's Night Out is a monthly event, usually the last Saturday of the month, where women meet at a local restaurant for food, fellowship and hear a fellow Cornerstone lady share her testimony. All ages are welcomed. This is a great outreach opportunity, so bring a friend!
Women's Lunch: Come have lunch at a designated restaurant, typically on the 1st Thursday of the month. All women are invited to come and have fellowship and meet some wonderful Cornerstone women!
Prayer: Mom's In Touch is an organized prayer group that focuses on praying for schools and child-related needs. There is a general Mom's In Touch group that meets locally - see church bulletin.
Weekly Prayer Meetings are held on Wednesday evenings at Cornerstone. All are welcomed to come and pray together for various groups, ministries and church-related needs. Contact Teresa Bivens.
Physical/Athletic Activities: Various activities from Co-ed volleyball to basketball to organized walks and fitness-type group meetings are planned throughout the year. Most events are held on site in the ROCK Center. Please watch the bulletin and the Web for updated information on dates, places and times.
Bible Studies: Sunday School/Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) starts at 9:00 am on Sunday morning at Cornerstone. Each class generally studies a different book of the Bible. Please see the bulletin or the Web for more information.
Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is an outside Bible Study that meets on different days of the week at varying times (Monday evening, Wednesday & Thursday mornings). BSF is available to men and women. Morning sessions include classes for children ages 2-5 and the evening sessions include classes for children K-12. Contact Amy Brady.
Community Bible Study (CBS) is an outside Bible Study that meets on Thursday mornings for women. Children's classes are also available for infants - Kindergarten. Contact Sarah Hansel.
Babysitting Co-op Group: Moms are encouraged to join this "point-system" babysitting opportunity. Have your kids watched by Christians while taking turns watching others. They are always available for more Moms to join. Contact Melissa Crouch.
Opportunity To Serve: There are numerous areas to serve in the Church. From helping or teaching children to serving or preparing food, helping different ministries and/or greeting, there is ample opportunity to get involved. Please feel free to contact any committee member to get plugged in!
