The Purpose of Touch Ministry:
Touch Ministry exists to assist in overall wellness of the Cornerstone family by promoting health and happiness through massage.
Why have a massage?
They feel good and they are good for you!

Massage Options
Chair
10-15 minute back, neck, and arm massage while seated in a specially designed chair.
Full Body (Swedish)
Long gliding strokes & deep kneading to promote relaxation and flexibility. You may remain dressed and will always be properly draped. You may also choose not to have an area of your body touched (such as head and face) or a particular technique used.
Hot Stone
Oiled, warm, smooth stones placed along the body and used to gently massage.
Deep Tissue (Trigger Point)
Strong, deep massage with slow strokes and a heavy pressure on specific knots and tension points.
Reflexology
A massage system directed primarily toward the feet to improve the function of the whole body.
Prenatal
Gentle massage that focuses on lower back, hips, shoulders and feet while client is lying on side. Relieves discomfort and swelling.
Infant
Repetitive, long strokes and rhythmic movement of limbs (taught to parents).
Home
Done in home or care facility as either a chair or full body massage. Specifically for individuals who are not able to come to the Church.
Where:
Most massage sessions will be given at Cornerstone in a private room on the first floor.
Arrangements may be made for home massage as the need arises.
Cost:
There is no charge; however, donations are appreciated and will be given to either a missionary or an approved non-profit organization.
